KVPC’s social responsibility during Covid-19

In the years 2019 and 2020, the world experiences a crisis in various fields due to COVID-19’s effect. Million people lost their jobs or suffer a decrease in income because firms cut employees. Enterprises also face a series of unexpected difficulties such as value chain disruptions, fall in demand, difficulty in finance. In that context, being an international enterprise in Vietnam, KVPC firmly awares of our responsibilities in contributing effort, together with the community to fight COVID-19. Understanding that safety for ourselves means safety for our colleagues, partners, and community, we strictly comply with the safety regulations as Vietnamese government’s recommendation. All our staffs comply to check body temperature at the lobby, wear masks, wash our hands with hand sanitizer, and do disinfection in an automatic room.

Besides, in the recent April, Ms. Nga Nguyen – KVPC’s Chief Accountant represents KVPC to donate to the Vietnamese Fatherland-National Rescue Committee to support people who suffer the hard conditions due to COVID-19. Welcome KVPC’s representatives, the representative of National Front expresses the deepest thanks to the meaningful action from the company.

According to WHO, COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. The older, and those with underlying medical issues such as chronic respiratory disease, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness. Globally, as of 5:01 pm CEST, 15 July 2020, there have been 13,150,645 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 574,464 deaths (WHO, 2020).
